PHARMACOTHERAPY

Pharmacotherapy is the treatment of disorder/ disease with medication.
In moderate to severe mental health conditions medicines play an important role to bring down the intensity of symptoms as well as improve the overall health related quality of life.
In the treatment of addiction , it is used to reduce withdrawal symptoms, cravings and reduce the likelihood of use or relapse for specific drugs by blocking their effect.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. Numerous research studies suggest that CBT leads to significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.

TRAUMA FOCUSED THERAPY

Trauma-Focused Therapy is a specific approach to therapy that recognizes and emphasizes understanding how the traumatic experience impacts a child’s mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This type of therapy is rooted in understanding the connection between the trauma experience and the child’s as well adult emotional and behavioral responses.
